Mathematics: The Real Life Prob Solver!   Today I'll share with you a personal incident of mine, that gave me a life lesson! One of my friends (I'd like to keep the name a secret); had very bad habit of showing off, by comparing himself with others. He was very arrogant and Always boasted about his never ending expenses and his deep pocket. Sometimes it was the Price of his Levi's shirt and the other times his G-Shock Watch!  He felt cool and a class above by humiliating people this way!  I never answered his humiliating mannerism because he was really rich and had an impressive dressing sense whatsoever. But none of us ever appreciated his nature. So, we finally decided to talk about the elephant in the room and came on a conclusion of teaching him a lesson. One of us questioned him about his father's net worth. And he replied; with a lot of pride in his eyes; '1 lakh pr month! '  Everyone was like ohhhh! Such a Rich Guy!    He was on the 7th sky! ...

 आज खरच वाटल आपल घर...आपला बुलढाणा... आता नाही ...इथे आल्यावर मित्र-मैत्रिणी खप झाल्या पण कितीही मोठा मित्रपरिवार असला तर सणाला मात्र घरची आठवण येतेच.. आठवत अजून मला ते समोरच्या पाटील काकूच्या वाड्यातून आपट्याची पाने कसे तोडायची सगळी गल्लीतली मुलं.. दसऱ्याच्या एक दिवस आधी S2K मध्ये खरेदी करायची ......दिवसभर तसी काहीच काम नसायचं... पण रात्री फिरण्याच्या घ्या उत्सुकतेमध्ये दिवस पण निघून जायचा...सगळे ठरवायचं रात्री सगळे मित्र कुठे भेटणार...आई तर दररोज सारखा स्वयंपाक करताना दिसत होती तिला सुट्टी नसायधी... हा पण 'पपा आजच्या दिवशी बसले सगळ्यांनसोबत.. यांना असायची सुट्टी...दसरा नवरात्रीत गी मध्ये देवी बसवायचे सगळे...आज पण त्या देवीचे दर्शन घायचे हे ठरलेलं गलीतील सगळ्यांचा...५-६ वाजेपासून बहिणीची तयारी चालू व्हायची...          आमची घराच्या बाहेर पडायच्या १० mln आधी... तयारी करतानाच मित्रांचे फोन वर फोन येतात...बुलढण्याच्या डोंगरावर नवरात्रीत एक वेगळाच माहोल बनलेला असतो 'चिखली रोड' वर... मोठया देवीची जत्...इथे तर दसन्याच्या दिवशी संध्याकाळी वेगळाच...सौंदर्य दिसते बु...

      Yesterday evening, I was traveling on the crowded streets of the city with my father. When he stopped the car due to traffic, my eyes went to a tall statue in the middle of the road. A little brown girl, aged 6-7, with helplessness spread all over her face, was begging for food standing in the shadow of the Statue. Ironically, the statue above her was dedicated to a Social Worker, who had devoted his entire life to women's education and empowerment.  My head got caught in a trance. I saw a statue every 500 meters, and that innocent poor girl's image came in front of my eyes. I began wondering, If those great men would've been alive, would they have seen this happen? Would they have allowed to make their own statues,  instead of giving the girl her right to education?         There are many statues in India that are not even officially registered and each one is worth more than 10 lakhs.
