Yesterday evening, I was traveling on the crowded streets of the city with my father. When he stopped the car due to traffic, my eyes went to a tall statue in the middle of the road. A little brown girl, aged 6-7, with helplessness spread all over her face, was begging for food standing in the shadow of the Statue. Ironically, the statue above her was dedicated to a Social Worker, who had devoted his entire life to women's education and empowerment. My head got caught in a trance. I saw a statue every 500 meters, and that innocent poor girl's image came in front of my eyes. I began wondering, If those great men would've been alive, would they have seen this happen? Would they have allowed to make their own statues, instead of giving the girl her right to education?
